Establishing good health is about treating the whole person, mind, body and soul, so I will take the time to really listen and will be led by what you want to focus on during the consultation. I may also ask about symptoms that seem unrelated. For example, I’ll want to know about your medical history, and that of your family. My aim is to uncover the cause of your ill health so I can prescribe a remedy that most closely matches your individual picture.
I’m guided by the person centred approach used in counselling, and you can expect to be treated with empathy, acceptance, non-judgement and positive regard. I’m conscious that for some people, the consultation is as much a part of the healing process as is the remedy.
Taking the time to treat you effectively means that the first consultation will last about an hour, even up to an hour and a half. A follow up appointment, which can be anything between 2 – 4 weeks later, will be shorter, usually around 30 – 45 minutes. To see progress a minimum of 3 appointments is recommended.
I don’t believe in a ‘one size fits all ‘approach to health, as we are all unique, and I encourage my clients to take an active role in their own healthcare by offering advice on diet and lifestyle where appropriate. By sharing my knowledge of homeopathic remedies and natural approaches, I hope to give clients the confidence to take control of their health and well being.
Some people choose to stay in touch with their homeopath to maintain general health, even once they are better, by scheduling in regular appointments, three or four times a year.
Mother & Baby
I believe mother and baby are energetically linked, especially during breast-feeding, so it’s a good idea to treat them both together. I offer special combined mother and baby rates (up until the baby turns 2 years old).
I offer discounts for treating more than one child in the family – please see appointments and fees page.
If you are experiencing financial hardship, then please let me know. I believe homeopathy should be accessible to all, so will always try to find the balance between offering a discount and making a living.
I am not medically qualified, can’t diagnose conditions, and don’t claim to ‘cure’ named diseases. Homeopathy treats the person not the disease. Nothing on this website is intended to replace medical advice. I would suggest you maintain contact with your GP whilst receiving homeopathic treatment.
